When people ask me what do I do, I used to say, ‘I’m a copywriter in Advertising and I dream up marketing campaigns for brands like John Lewis and Heineken…’ but that was many moon’s ago. Today I find myself using my creative ninja-like-skills on a variety of interesting projects and clients.
No day is ever the same, and that’s the way I love it. From writing new business proposals to brainstorming marketing campaigns, or doing a spot of match making between digital creative agency and client. I’m very lucky to not be pigeonholed and instead, stretch my wings in lots of different directions.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of providing new business and marketing direction for workplace design consultancy Burtt-Jones & Brewer, mentoring and copywriting for Remco Merbris, Creative Director at Pixillion, copywriting for Modular, strategic digital direction for Brightside Films, event planning, PR and marketing for very talented Fine Artist, Andrea Toth … and somehow amongst all this I’m a PA to my gorgeous son and try to find time to finish my training as a wannabe garden designer (one day)!
I am happiest when working as part of a team, solving challenging briefs and as an independent consultant I have the freedom to collaborate with some of the most creative minds in the business.
